- normal training rate: 18 – 20 strokes per minute (SPM) – if you are at a lower rate you have to put more power into a stroke
- Mahe is planning to compete at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 – he will be 41
- every single day you are trying to achive one small little goal – it is all those small details that over time build up
- you cannot take short-cuts. You have to do everything to the best of your ability
- “Be the Best you can Be Everyday” – is Mahe’s mantra
