Sunday Morning Hike Klipriviersberg Johannesburg – 4 August 2019
It was very sad learning about the tragic shootings in Texas and Ohio earlier today.
It felt like Spring even though it is still Winter. Everyone commented on the superb weather. We had 27% humidity and the temperature reached a max of 23C (73F). Mostly sunny throughout. The wind picked up mid-morning but still pleasant.
Thanks to all who participated.
Young Mohammed was the Hero of the hike. We did 11K and Mohammed did much more than that because he kept running back and forth… Mohammed is only 5 years old, the youngest participant we have ever had! Congratulations to Mohammed and to Mom Riana. At the end of the 11K hike Mohammed ran to join other kids in the playground – he has unending energy.
