Sunday the 29th Jan 2017 was a cool day in Johannesburg – ideal for outdoor activities. Some of us did the walk and run. It was incredibly pleasant as one walked/ ran underneath the shade of the year-round beautiful jacarandas.
Along the way, we met people walking their dogs, a couple of runners and groups of cyclists. Everyone enjoying their morning exercise and the beautiful weather.
We all met afterwards at Bem Bom for Sunday brunch. My ‘prego’ was delicious and the ‘pastel de nata’ out of this world.
To quote Anne Barford: “Lovely walk, stunning company and good food – good way to start Sunday”.
It was very pleasant meeting friends and we all enjoyed a lively conversation. Thanks to all who attended. Thanks to Sylvia for the photos.
