London in lockdown an amazing experience to see and ride. It was a great way to see the City and experience the quiet, clean air, few cars and the ease to buzz around. It was extraordinary and everyone was social distancing. Park Lane with no cars! Carnaby Street empty! Leicester Square totally without life. Only riding solo and never sitting behind any other rider at any distance. Keep well and keep safe.

    1. Hi Caroline – not only was it a great experience, albeit at such sad and challenging times, but one overwhelming factor was how clean the air was! It was a perfect warm, sunny Easter Sunday morning.
I have more photos for instance, Park Lane, one of the busiest thoroughfares in London with just one bicycle!
To traverse London took minutes. No lorries no cars just buses. You could cut down alleyways and scoot across junctions on the pavements. All very surreal.
Many thanks for your comment, it is much appreciated. I try to take at least one photo on my bike rides to post on Strava and capture a moment, but City Tour was on a whole new level.
      Cheers, Mike

Looking forward to your comment
