We had a beautiful day in Johannesburg yesterday and to think that I got grounded due to a bad cold… The 4 Hosts were down to 2 as Niren was also not able to attend. Ilona and Jan did a fantastic job – well done! Thank you to all who participated and thanks to Ilona and Jan for the great photos.
Something to keep in mind going forward: we organise ourselves into 3 groups viz 5K, 11K and 13K. The 3 groups do not all return at the same time for obvious reasons. After yesterday’s walk Jan’s group went into the Coffee Shop where they enjoyed tea, coffee, savouries and one or two people had curry as well. Artemis told me that they all enjoyed the food and the social.
So whenever waiting for a friend keep in mind that the Coffee Shop at the Nature Reserve is a welcoming venue.
