At the pinnacle of the British Summer sporting and the social season is the Henley Regatta. The event is the oldest in the world, dating back to 1839.
The numbers are impressive: 15 countries, 577 Crews (60 of which from the United States). Some of the highlights included:
- the power of the British quad (Leander and Molesey) at 37 strokes per minute versus the Italian Team (and current European Champions)
