Dog Days of Summer Challenge 2022

Dog Days of Summer Challenge 2022 – Done and Dusted

This afternoon I did my 20,000 meters rowing to complete the Dog Days of Summer Challenge. This challenge is hosted yearly August 1- 28.

For the Dog Days Challenge one has to do a 10,000m on week 1; 20,000m on week 2; 30,000m on week 3 and 40,000m on week 4.

It always amazes me: 1) the number of people who participate 2) the variety of countries participants come from (all over the world) and 3) the additional distance some participants happily add to their workouts. In the leaderboard Garreth Morgans from South Africa did 381,878m (really impressive!); Jim Bates from Ireland did a total of 326,154m; young Ben Adloff from the United States (18 years young!) did 321,899m; ๋ฟŒ๋ ๊ฝ ~ from South Korea covered a distance of 282,000m and so on… awesome๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™‚๏ธ

My friend Michael Arendsen from Victoria Lake Rowing Club in Johannesburg did 102,097m. Well done Sir๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™‚๏ธ
